How do I change my account details (e.g. residential address of members, mailing address, country, legal name, birthdate, etc.)?
Paxos asks that all account holders update the details of their accounts so that we can provide accurate tax information, maintain our AML/KYC standards, and remain compliant with the rules and regulations that the New York Department of Financial Services outlines for holders of a Trust Charter.
To make updates to your account information, please submit a support ticket specifying the change to account details required.
Depending on the information being changed, please find the supporting documentation required below.
Updating Date of Birth or Legal Names for Members
Please submit a valid government-issued Photo ID for a name or Date of Birth change to be approved.
Updating Residential Address
Please submit a Proof of Residence document (Ex: Bank Statement, Utility Bill, etc) dated in the last 6 months for an address update to be approved.
Updating Entity's Legal Name
Please submit an official document evidencing the name change for the Legal Entity for a name change in our system to be approved.
