Platform Functionalities

Paxos currently has two primary Web interfaces - the Dashboard and the Wallet UI. For an overview of the purposes of the two platforms, please refer to What is Wallet UI and what is Paxos Dashboard?

This page covers specifics on the functionalities across both platforms, as well as our Paxos APIs.

1. Dashboard Functionalities

Asset Movement

In the Paxos Dashboard UI/Web Interface, you can access the following functionalities related to Asset Movement:

  1. Depositing Assets;
  2. Converting Stablecoins;
  3. Transferring Assets

You may find additional details on Minting Stablecoins here and Redeeming Stablecoins here. Please refer to our article on Stablecoin Conversion Limits and Settlement Times for further details on potential restrictions to these flows.

Account Management

In the Paxos Dashboard UI/Web Interface, you can access the following functionalities related to Account Management:

  1. Associate Multiple Entities to your Organization;
  2. Managing User Accesses;
  3. Configure API Credentials;
  4. Access Reporting Functionalities

Trading and PAXG

Currently, the Paxos Dashboard UI does not support Trading or PAXG. We are actively working on integrating these products in the Paxos Dashboard, and will post updates as they become available.

You may continue accessing these products in the Wallet UI. Alternatively, you may also access these functionalities via our Paxos APIs

2. API Functionalities

After onboarding with Paxos, you can access our APIs which allows institutions to access the full suite Paxos products. It also includes APIs for market data, orders, and the held rate quote flow.

Further details on our APIs can be found here.

3. Wallet UI Functionalities

Wallet UI is Paxos' legacy platform which is in the process of being deprecated. As part of this deprecation effort, we are migrating existing functionality off Wallet UI into the Dashboard.

If you currently use the Wallet UI, we highly recommend migrating your account to a Dashboard  account unless you require access to PAXG and Trading.

You can find further instructions on migrating your account here.
