Wallet UI Deprecation: Frequently Asked Questions
Last updated: April 13, 2026
In recent years, Paxos’ focus has shifted to building world-class enterprise digital asset infrastructure. As we continue to sharpen that focus, we have made the decision to retire the Wallet UI platform.
Please refer to the frequently asked questions below for more information on what this means and how you might be impacted as a customer:
How do I access my account?
You can access your Wallet UI account at https://account.paxos.com/login. If you encounter issues, you may contact us here for further assistance.
Is Paxos closing my Wallet UI account?
Yes, all Wallet UI accounts will eventually be closed. Paxos is investing in Paxos Dashboard, our enterprise service platform, and Paxos will soon deprecate the Wallet UI platform (you can find more details about each platform here).
Should Dashboard fit your needs, you may migrate your Wallet UI account to Paxos Dashboard. However, you should note the fee structure and features of the Dashboard are designed for enterprise use.
What is Paxos Dashboard?
Paxos Dashboard is Paxos' enterprise-grade platform geared towards offering users a self-serve interface to securely deposit and transfer fiat, stablecoins and other digital assets, as well as mint, convert and redeem Paxos-issued stablecoins.
It provides an integrated experience for customers to manage stablecoin operations ranging from single entities to global, cross-region setups all from a single interface. It also offers customizable security controls, approval workflows and transaction automation for asset movements via the platform.
Digital asset trading or exchange interfaces are not supported in the Dashboard UI with the exception of Pax Gold (PAXG). Dashboard-eligible enterprise users can access trading via API integrations, which can be set up via the Dashboard’s developer resources. Please also note that enterprise fees will apply on Dashboard:
Stablecoin Conversions
To calculate Stablecoin Conversion pricing, add together the relevant pricing for the assets you are minting and burning. For example, converting USDC into USDG would incur a 5bps fee. Converting PYUSD into USDC would be free.
Digital Asset Transfers
Free for the first 500 transfers each month. After 500 transfers, the following fees apply:
Digital Asset Transfers include deposits and withdrawals. All transfer fees are in addition to the blockchain fee. Minimums and maximums apply per transaction.
Wire Fees
Book Transfers
Book Transfers refers to transferring a balance held on-platform at Paxos from one account to another. You can move asset balances across the Paxos platform with no fee.
Digital Asset Custody
Digital Asset Trading
For trading digital assets and PAXG via the Dashboard, standard fees apply.
I received a Wallet UI account closure notice. What should I do?
Prior to the shutdown of the Wallet UI platform on May 29th, 2026, your account will be placed on a sell-only, withdraw-only mode, and we recommend that you:
Withdraw your funds or tokens to a self-custodial wallet or bank account of your choice; or
Transfer your assets to an alternative platform of your choice (e.g., an account on a centralized or decentralized exchange); or
Should it fit your needs, migrate to Paxos Dashboard, an enterprise service platform (more details can be found here); and
Download your transaction history as future requests for your transaction history will be subject to additional wait times.
Should you require assistance regarding access, please contact our support team here.
What will happen to my funds?
Prior to the date stipulated in the notice that you have received, your funds remain safely in your account and are reflected on your account balance. At all times, your account is fully protected by our Terms and Conditions, and you will be able to perform withdrawals subject to standard anti money laundering checks.
Past the deadline, your Wallet UI account will be closed and your funds will be migrated to a Paxos Dashboard account, where they may be subject to custody fees. If applicable, your funds may also be subject to escheatment proceedings once the necessary dormancy period has been reached.
To withdraw your funds from Dashboard following the deadline, you will have to perform a Know-Your-Customer (KYC) refresh on Dashboard. This will require the resubmission of identifying documents and may result in longer processing times. We encourage you to withdraw your funds prior to the deprecation deadline for faster processing.
What is the timeline for account closure?
Your account will be closed on May 29th, 2026. We strongly encourage you to withdraw your funds or migrate to the Dashboard prior to that date.
