This article explains when Paxos will issue U.S. tax forms for tax year 2025 and who is not in scope for Paxos tax reporting.

Who will receive a tax form from Paxos for 2025?
For tax year 2025, Paxos will issue Form 1099‑DA to:
Direct Paxos account holders,
Who are eligible U.S. customers, and
Who have reportable digital asset activity in calendar year 2025.
If you qualify:
Form type: You will receive Form 1099‑DA for tax year 2025.
Delivery method: Your form will be mailed to the postal address associated with your Paxos account.
Paxos will not provide tax documents if:
You access Paxos services through a third party partner such as IBKR
Your account is opened under an exempt entity (e.g. a LLC that is treated as a corporation for U.S. tax purposes),
You hold assets but do not have reportable activity in 2025, or
Your activity otherwise does not meet IRS reporting thresholds for Form 1099‑DA.
Accessing your transaction history
Regardless of whether you receive a tax form, you can:
Download your activity records (trades, deposits, withdrawals) directly from your Paxos account, and
Use this data to work with your tax advisor or tax software.
